In 2004, I began pursuing a new path in stained concrete (formerly a technician at Rockwell Automation) into the now growing & evolving trade of decorative concrete. Loving to work with my hands, I began installing stained concrete for Creative Surfaces, who began in 1996, and was having great success. As the desire in me grew stronger to learn more about this new trade, I couldn’t stop wondering what it would be like to create and install polished concrete, epoxy flooring, and concrete overlays.
THE NEW VISION of WHAT IF…
Encouraged to look for side work and new opportunities in the trade, I lifted my prayer up to the Lord and found a retiring janitorial service selling his equipment for a more than fair price. So, I started FloorRescue in 2005 by knocking doors, leaving business cards around town, making calls, and sending faxes!
Concrete, being man-made, can be easily misunderstood and misread at times. Understanding a material which has multiple mix designs takes time, application and patience. As i went into the decorative concrete world, with limited knowledge, I didn’t realize I was headed into many failures as an installer and business owner.

Trust in the Rescue
One day, I felt impressed upon my heart, “Trust in the Rescue”, as I was in search of a tagline or slogan for my newly found company, Floor Rescue. As I took a leap of faith into decorative concrete in Dallas, I, too was learning to “Trust in the Rescue” myself through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, who has the power set me free from fear, insecurity and the limited beliefs that keep people held back every day.
Therefore, He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them (Hebrews 7:25)
I will be the first to say we haven’t been perfect and our past is full of mistakes. In fact, we still make mistakes today! But, they are small in comparison. However, to Trust in the Rescue means that we will hold fast to principles in our relationships and proven practices in our trade. We will seek to do the right thing even to our own hurt or loss, because we believe in having integrity and doing the right thing by our customers and our consciences. Relationships, quality work and right action makes the difference in any install or trade.
MESSAGE OF HOPE
From a more spiritual approach, to “Trust in the Rescue” means that God is CALLING TO YOU and to me through the Rescue Mission of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His Son. He came to save you, me, and the entire world from sin and brokenness (the power, damage, and consequences of sin). We trust in the Rescue (Jesus) because we know His heart & character, having been shown bountiful grace and mercy in our lives. We trust in the Rescue because there is no other way to salvation, healing and deliverance but by Him. We trust in the Rescue because He loves us and has proven that faithful love to us timer and time again. There is no other Rescue mission like the one of Jesus Christ, so I implore you today to turn to God and “Trust in the Rescue”!

What makes beyond limits unique is it is birth out of the pain and joy of desiring true success in our unique trade. Brand neutral and unbiased in nature. Recognizing that the most important thing in any business or a Decorative, Concrete professionals journey is mastering the install and protecting the integrity of the installation itself and the relationships that he builds within his business the installer and the install itself comes first. Principles guide decisions and create new path of opportunity. Beyond limits is about developing true entrepreneurs and true craftsman in this trade led by a Pioneer with 20+ years of entrepreneurial experience with Floor Rescue. All of our efforts and coaching training and personal and business development is filtered through the lands of creating opportunities for others that build futures and create lasting businesses through true growth. Beyond limits offers a full array of Concrete floor systems, including Decorative Concrete and also resonance floor systems for residential and commercial markets. My goal is to provide opportunity for the entrepreneur to learn and master these installs and create a business that grows and develops into something that produces freedom and opportunity for him and the people he employees and works with.
